(laugh) they are what sophie uses. i like sophie. it took two seconds to make it happen on my blog, so. butter has been scratching the table legs since i started that comment. i'm trying to decide if my dad gets apple butter after that comment. um. did you hear about samantha?

apple things! so good! i've made apple butter before, which technically requires making applesauce, but i just froze that - i've never canned stuff all on my own. today was worse luck, though, as the first can i put in broke in the process, so i had to put a stop to things until i can get that cleaned up and figure out why it broke. meep.
